Kudos to the creative team here at Kiwi Creative who scored big at yet another design competition. This time, we took home three honors in the 2016 GDUSA American Package Design Awards in the music and entertainment category for our client Shadow Mountain Records.
A BIG congrats to our creative team who took home an astonishing 10 awards in GDUSA’s 2015 American Graphic Design Awards competition. Check out our award-winning design work, below.
Lauren is this semester’s Content Marketing Intern! She is a senior at John Carroll University (one of our favorite clients!) and passionate about social media. We’re having a blast getting to know her, so we gave her a little Q&A.
We’ve got a new member of the Kiwi Crew! Chris Schneider is our talented new web designer—from websites to woodworking, this guy does it all!
Say “hi” to Maura, Kiwi Creative’s new Content Marketing Intern! She’s a fun, ginger-haired lady who loves social media, photography and traveling. We can’t wait to get to know her…and what better way to do that than a Q & A?
At times it feels like I've been in business for myself for years, but in reality it's only been about a year and a half since I opened the doors at Kiwi Creative. But in those past 18 months, I've had a crash course in small business ownership that would rival any MBA program. And as much as I'd like to think that I had my shit together since day #1, in reality I made more than my fair share of mistakes along the way. The important thing? I learned (and am still learning!) from them.
We've always thought our li'l marketing and design studio in Cleveland was a pretty awesome place to work, but now it's official: Knock Knock has named Kiwi Creative as a runner up in their "Coolest Places to Work" contest!
Wow…has it really been a full year since I launched Kiwi Creative as my full-time gig? (Oh yeah…now I definitely remember building Ikea furniture for hours on end last Labor Day weekend. That wasn't so fun.)
I'm not going to say that this journey hasn't been stressful at times (er, lots of the time), but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Being your own boss is liberating (albeit scary) and the chance to work one-on-one with clients to solve their marketing and design needs is über rewarding.

Stop the presses! Kiwi Creative has been chosen for the first-ever group of HOW Design Ambassadors.
(For all of you non-designers—or graphic artists who have been living under a rock—the HOW brand is best known for it's kick-ass design magazine that's a practical mix of essential business information, up-to-date technology tips, the creative whys and hows behind noteworthy projects, and profiles of professionals who are influencing design. But they also publish books, run a resource-filled website, maintain a design-a-rific blog and put on design conferences.)
